Breaching Technologies now offers the Shotgun Hinge Breaching Door a training door that simulates both lock and hinge breaching utilizing a shotgun. This door utilizes the BTI patent pending system to replicate real life situations through the use of engineered lock and hinge panels.

The BTI Shotgun Hinge Breaching Door offers realistic and affordable training for situations that involve inward opening doors for which the hinges are breached utilizing a shotgun. The Shotgun Hinge Breaching Door can be installed into a structure or utilized with the optional Free Standing Kit.

Up to 3 lock sets and 3 hinges can be simulated utilizing the patent pending system. This door can be reset in a matter of seconds, resulting in no training down time. The BTI Shotgun Hinge Breaching Door is highly cost effective when compared to the use of actual doors and jury rigged systems.

Three modes of training:
  • 3 Hinge Breach
  • 3 Lock Breach

The BTI Lock Panel system for lock breaching has been incorporated in to this door. Again, forcing the trainee to place shots correcly to gain entry.

The door is designed not to open until all Hinge Panels and/or Lock Panels have been destroyed.

The BTI Shotgun Breaching Door
Shotgun Breaching Door
Introducing the first fixed / portable Shotgun Breaching Door designed by a law enforcement officer!

This patent pending system can be utilized in both stand-alone or fixed modes. Doors are of a standard 36"x80" size. The door system is available with a free-standing kit and provisions for mounting into structures of opportunity.

The freestanding kit allows the door to be placed and anchored as desired. The door system can easily be transported, carried, and erected by 2 individuals in a matter of minutes. This is ideal for onsite training at locations of opportunity.

Shotgun Breaching Door
Every Shotgun Door comes complete with a standard 36"x80" door and frame with provisions for mounting in existing frames, doorways, or live fire house without the use of the free-standing kit.

Never buy another door! The BTI Shotgun Door is reusable and damage proof. By utilizing a low cost consumable that fails during the shotgun breach, rather than the door, training now only costs dollars per breach. The system can be reloaded for the next breach in a matter of seconds.

This door not only looks realistic, but also forces the trainee to focus their shots into the proper location to defeat the lock. Errant shots will not breach the door.

Provisions for minimizing shot splatter and reflection have been incorporated into the design to enhance the safety of shotgun breach training.

The door has been engineered to replicate up to three separate locksets. This allows training where multiple shots are required to breach the door.
